Level 3 Courses
Level 3 takes place on busy roads incorporating real traffic conditions and advanced road features, after Level 2 has been acheived.
It is designed for cyclist who want to gain more confidence on busy roads with a variety of traffic conditions and complexity.
The course covers how to negociate roundabouts, junctions controlled by traffic lights, the use of multi lane roads and understanding of the principles of filtering in traffic and when to wait.
Hazard perception and the strategy to deal with hazards, an understanding of route planning.
Using of on-road and off-road facilities. Interpretation of road signs and the understanding of the Highway Code especially concerning the cyclist.
